Xerox Named to Fortune’s Most Admired Companies List

By Renee Heiser

Everyone at Xerox is delighted over our being named to Fortune magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. Number 3 in the “Computers” category – ahead of our competitors – is darn good.

One thing is more gratifying than making the list: It’s how we made the list.

Fortune compiled the list from a survey of some 3,900 executives, analysts, directors, and experts who rank companies in their own industries.

According to Fortune, these experts consider criteria that include innovation, quality of management and products, social responsibility, and ability to attract talent.

So the people in our own industry think highly of us. I can’t tell you how much that means to each and every one of us at Xerox.

In 2017, Xerox embarked on a journey that will position us for sustained success. Our opportunities are in front of us, and we’re working hard and steady at them:

  • We participate in an $85 billion market.
  • We are positioned to capture opportunities in our strategic growth areas — graphic communications, managed document services, as well as multifunction printers for small and medium size businesses and large enterprises.
  • We launched an entire new product line in 2017 that puts mobility, security, and ease of use at the center of your document workflows. The reviews have been tremendous.

We’re proud of what we accomplished in 2017 and we’re still building. We are succeeding – one award at a time, one customer at a time, and one industry expert at a time — and we won’t slow down.
