The atmosphere is electric today for the long-anticipated opening of IPEX 2010. This is an exciting opportunity for Xerox to showcase the latest innovations and solutions with the print industry on an international stage and engage in an open dialogue with real business owners in real time.

Let me give a quick overview of some of the cool things that are happening in the Xerox stand this week. And if you are here in Birmingham, come find us in Hall 7! When navigating the stand, you will notice that it is set up according to application. There are sections devoted to books and manuals, automated collateral fulfillment, direct marketing, digital and offset working together, photo publishing, quick print and transpromo.  Visitors can get up close and personal with our latest solutions, experience product demos and chat with our team of experts.

Make sure to see the demonstration of Xerox production inkjet technology.  You can also expect to see our latest equipment and workflow in the various sections of the stand. Check out the Workflow Innovation area where we are showcasing some very novel solutions with Production Print Automation, QR Codes, and Mobile Print.  And, don’t forget to stop by Business Development where we bring it all together with tools and resources to really help our customers grow their digital printing business.  A great new service is Lean Document Production that has already been implemented in over 100 production sites and has yielded an average of 20-40% improvement in production manufacturing costs.

Looking for the latest listing of what’s going on throughout the show at the Real Business Live Theater? Visit http://www.xerox.com/ipex for the latest information.

Last, but certainly not least, we have our own café where you can relax with a hot cup of java and network with other industry folks at the show.

For those of you who aren’t joining us on the show floor, you can still be a part of the action. Check out Xerox’s virtual IPEX 2010 or follow us on Twitter for the latest updates at @Xerox_IPEX, @XeroxEvents and @XeroxProduction. We’ll be sure to keep you up-to-date on news and events from Xerox and IPEX 2010.
