Live from France – it’s Xerox Innovation!

by, Bill McKee, Xerox Public Relations

One of the best things about my job helping get the word out about the cool things going on inside Xerox Innovation Group is just that – seeing and doing some really cool stuff.  Today is a great example.  I’m here in Grenoble France at Xerox Research Centre Europegetting things ready for a Xerox technology showcase where we open up the doors to the lab to demonstrate the projects our scientists are working on not just in the lab but with our customers, in collaboration with Universities and even in parking lots and on highway bridges as well as small rural communities in developing countries like India.

I’ll be joined later tonight by 70 industry analysts and journalists at an event that is near and dear to me.  The place will be buzzing with conversations, discussions and brainstorming between our guests and some of the smartest folks here at Xerox – our researchers, engineers, ethnographers and executives.   It’s our chance to show how Xerox is finding new ways to help our customers by applying our world-class knowledge and expertise in ways we never even imagined before.

While I wish you could be here ––  we could have used your help to put up that tent in front of XRCE – you can join the conversation about Xerox innovation on Twitter using these hashtags and twitter handles: #xerox; #xrxiab12; @xrce.  I hope you’ll stay tuned to this blog and our newsroom for some glimpses at innovation inside Xerox.

Hope to hear from you!
