Craig Rich
Craig is one of the founder members of WDS having been part of the Hugh Symons family of companies since 1991. Having a keen technical interest and understanding, Craig started out in retail and solutions sales during the early years of mobile technology and has applied this experience throughout the companies’ history.

Starting in the Call Center and spearheading the growth of WDS, Craig has built and developed many of the key roles that WDS now relies on. Craig’s experience has spanned call center management to operations, technical solutions design and engineering management through to building a product management organization and defining and executing on the Brand vision and development.

In the role of CIO for WDS, Craig defined the IT and data strategy, whilst leading the team responsible for building a global infrastructure capable of supporting a rapidly growing business. As part of this role, key systems architectures were developed in alignment with core product strategies to ensure that the company was ready to make the most of the big data and processes that WDS customers were looking to leverage.

Now in the role of chief marketing officer, Craig is an experienced leader responsible for a number of key areas. Brand and Customer Marketing is designed as a high-impact, thought-leadership area looking to establish strong credibility. Product Management is designed to future proof the business and ensure that products are designed and aligned with market and customer needs in order to maximize returns.

Knowledge Management ensures that customers get the most appropriate knowledge delivered in the most efficient way. Proposition Management defines the WDS go-to-market strategy. Analytical Insight defines the best practice for using customer data to define and derive value-based commercial programs designed to improve the customers’ business. Craig also oversees the innovation function that works closely with the Xerox Innovation Group to define and drive the research requirements for the WDS market.
