Wow! It’s been some week for Xerox. A really exciting time in our company’s storied history.
I’m on the road in New England with the Xerox Global Services (XGS) senior executive team. We’re visiting with the largest industry analyst firms – Gartner, Forrester and IDC. The reaction here to Monday’s big news about Xerox acquiring Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) is very positive.
Today we’re with Forrester in Cambridge, MA. Lots of great questions here for the XGS team about the announcement and how Xerox and ACS are changing the services game. In yesterday’s USA Today the well-known Forrester principal analyst Craig Le Clair was asked to comment on the deal and was quoted as saying, “Great move by Xerox.” And that seems to be the consensus industry analyst opinion, so far.
It’s on to IDC in Framingham, MA later today . . .
